It is more difficult to deal with the problems arising from the operation of INA bearings. Because of improper handling, it will cause bearing damage and shorten its life. Generally speaking, we have to analyze the following points from the perspective of the use of turbocharged bearings:

1. The bearing clearance should be appropriate. If it is too large, it will cause impact, and if it is too small, it will be poorly lubricated, which may cause damage.

2. The surface quality and geometry of bearings and journals should be strictly guaranteed.

3. Improve the lubrication quality of the inlet bearing, control its pressure and temperature, and strengthen cleaning and filtration.

4. Lubricate with lubricating oil that meets the requirements.

In order to ensure the long life of INA bearings, which cannot meet the general installation and adjustment requirements, the following measures should be taken:

(1) The bearings are grouped according to the size of the interference fit surface, and the turbocharged bearings are arranged in order according to the size of the clearance in each group. Group the corresponding shaft or seat hole diameter in the same group. Match the INA bearing group with a large interference fit surface size to the shaft group or seat hole group with a large diameter, and select the corresponding group with a small size and a small diameter. In each matching group, the bearing with large clearance is used for tighter fit, and the bearing with small clearance is used for looser fit.

As a result of this matching, in the machines installed in the same batch, the matching interference of the bearings is more consistent, neither too loose nor too tight, and the clearance is more uniform, thus ensuring proper prestress after the bearing is installed and avoiding The occurrence of abnormal bearing failures such as creeping, ring expansion, impact due to improper clearance, vibration or heat, and clinging.

(2) The coaxiality of the journal and seat hole at both ends of the support and its perpendicularity to the end face of the support must be strictly guaranteed to prevent additional load. If possible, the mechanical components acting on loads other than the turbocharger bearing should be slightly far away from the bearing on the more vulnerable end, and the shaft and rotating part system should run as smoothly as possible.
