The back of the bearing should be smooth and flat, and it is not allowed to process it with a file or padded with paper, so as not to affect the heat dissipation. However, in the maintenance work, there are often some unavoidable situations, such as the large clearance between the bearing and the journal or the use of old bearings. A thin layer of copper is allowed on the back of the bearing, but it must be leveled and the oil outlet hole must be leveled.
