No matter what type of precision bearing, after the installation is completed, the installation accuracy must be checked to ensure that the relevant standards are met. However, even such a simple operation needs to be carried out in a certain order, otherwise errors are prone to occur. The specific order is as follows.

The step of verifying the bearing installation accuracy is to measure the size of the shaft and the bearing seat hole, from which to determine the fit accuracy. The basic requirement is that the inner ring and the shaft of the precision bearing adopt an interference fit, the outer ring and the bearing seat hole adopt a clearance fit, and the error between the surface roundness of the shaft and the seat hole should be controlled within a certain range.

The second step is to install the front bearing at the fixed end on the shaft. In this process, attention should be paid to the cleanliness and lubrication of the bearing. Use the method of measuring the starting torque to check whether the specified preload has a large change. Next, the assembly of the bearing is installed into the seat hole, and the free end bearing is also selectively placed in a position where the deviation may be offset. This is mainly to offset the mutual roundness deviation and coaxiality deviation. When all aspects are up to standard, it means that the installation of precision bearings is in compliance with the specifications.
